Story

Angel in Blue Jeans is dedicated to the memory of Gaylin Moss. A beautiful and talented young girl who I had the fortune to call my girlfriend. She was taken from us at such a young age. While visiting California I met up with her best friend Sheri Gerstein thanks to Sam Rod. Sheri made me realize that Gaylin's song had never been recorded. When I got back to my home in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, I began recording in my little studio downstairs. The song includes two acoustic guitar tracks, drum track, bass track, keyboard synth track and a vocal track. The recording went so smoothly it felt as if Gaylin was helping along the way. This song is a Christmas present to all the friends who knew and loved Gaylin and my personal birthday present to Gaylin. No one knows why God takes his special angels, but I do know we will all see her again and listen to her beautiful voice and guitar.

 Love Always, for Gaylin Moss

Lyrics

     Angel in Blue Jeans

It's so good to see you, your the heaven of my dreams, and it's so good to hold you in meadows soft and green. Love is the journey we travel together, my little angel, my little angel, my little angel, in blue jeans.

My world was cold and lonely 'til you sent your love my way. You brought the warmth of sunlight to brighten up my days. Love is the journey we travel together. My little angel, my little angel, my little angel, in blue jeans.

Love that last forever can be seen in our eyes. There'll be no sad tomorrow, there'll be no more goodbye's. Love is the journey we travel together. My little angel, my little angel, my little angel, in blue jeans.

Story

Came home late one night after playing a gig. Got my guitar and started playing the opening riff. Next thing I knew I was in Bermuda and then the triangle.

Story

This song (Riverboat) was written in the back of my pick-up truck (had a camper on it). I was working graveyard shift, used to work hour on hour off. I had my guitar in the back of my truck and thought how fun it would be to party with all of my friends on a big Riverboat. Names were taken from friends and musicians I used to party with at Tom and Suzie's house. Wrote this song and the name has stuck with me thru the years with all my close friends.

Story

I wrote Lonely Traveler one late lonely night after coming home from a gig. Wondering what is the music life all about and where is it going to take me next?

Story

This song Price of Love was written one morning thinking about fellow musicians who chose love of family over love of music. How life has a way of rewarding sacrifice of desire with true love.

Story

Rode a mini-bike once, crashed it. Probably where I got mean motorcycle from. Was crazy bout a pretty little girl named Sherrie Lee (Suzi Lee?). So came the story. Never did get to ride with her. Got the mean motorcycle blues.

Story

My sister Rain and brother-in-law took the kids and tried to make a living being farmers in Kansas (for real). Didn't work out so when they returned they stayed with me a while. We were sitting around talking and my brother-in-law says you know in Kansas felt like I was "four years on the farm and ten years behind". That was the beginning to Farmers Night Out. The characters were all real, from a long list of talented Nashville entertainers.
